Piano Tuning Testimonials
“Thank you for your time and patience with our Weber. I hope your dinner wasn’t in the dog! It was fascinating to watch someone so intimate with their craft. And I must add a gentleman. If ever someone needs a piano tuner – I know who to recommend!”

"Eric, Thank you for the time, concern and professionalism you showed when you tuned and cleaned my piano. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone."

"It has been just over a week now since you reassembled the piano and I've had plenty of time to try it out and this is just a quick email to say thank you very much for the work done. It must have been a slow and painstaking process working on the action however the piano really is a revelation. Initially I was quite taken aback at how "stiff" the action felt however it is actually fantastic. Previously it had felt very fragile and brittle but now it feels absolutely robust.
Quite honestly this is what I had hoped for when I purchased the piano in the first place - something with a bit of history and character but also great to play. I cannot think there are many other Broadwood uprights that play as well as this one now does. I intend to get a bigger house at some point and would very much like a grand piano however I will always keep the Broadwood.
I don't know if you can use them however I have attached the photos I took of the action whilst you were reassembling the piano.
Thank you very much again for your time and effort. "

"I hope you are well. This is exactly the reason why I reached out to you is to avoid buying something that I would regret, as the Bechstein Lot 5, is in one of the first Piano I am considering, I could have bought a big problem. literally. 🙂 Money well spent sir.
I will be referencing your notes for tomorrow during the auction. Thank you very much Eric for your service sir. Have a good day."

This service was a bit different, as it involved inspecting and assessing five pianos which were due to be auctioned.
"Thank you so much again for tuning our piano. M’s teacher is giving him a lesson and can’t believe how you managed to tune my old piano so well!!!! So a big big thanks. Love Emma"

The background to this job was that the old piano was a family heirloom from the 1920’s. Not knowing what the exact cost would be, I gave an estimate. I was able to sort it out for considerably less. My policy is to do the minimum necessary for a decent result, rather than any attempt to create work or extra income.
"Dear Eric, Thank you for all your hard work. The piano sounds beautiful. All the very best for now, and many thanks again, Daniel."

Weber was a piano manufacturer in Hayes, Middlesex whose pianos also carry the Aeolian badge. They made the old type of pianolas, as well as a high quality regular piano. This piano is a pianola, made in 1925, and I spent 4 hours on it.
"Thank you Eric for transforming what was a rather disappointing 'family gift' piano (a 1919 Brinsmead grand piano) into a vibrant musical instrument. The pianists in the family are truly impressed at the musicality, no longer lifeless and hard to play, this is now a proper baby grand that is a pleasure to listen to being played. Your dedication to detail and craftsmanship is clear. Thanks again."

"I played on Sunday and noticed a significant difference. The heating hadn't come on and as such the piano would normally be 'damp' and dead to play. Filled with life. Action is more positive, sound filled the space. Which was handy as our hall was full - 100+ in on Sunday. I would highly recommend Eric Sievers if you want your piano to sound its best!"
